Referrals & Fees
MEDICARE
If eligible, you may be partially rebated through a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) that your GP/Family Doctor will assess prior to your first session.
Your MHCP provides you access to a total of 10 Medicare rebated sessions per calendar year. You are entitled to a rebate of $96.65 per session. After the initial 6 sessions, you are required to attend a GP review to assess eligibility for a further 4 rebated sessions.
To process your rebate, we require a copy of your MHCP and referral letter from your GP. You can ask your GP to email/fax it to us directly, you can email us or bring it in with you on the day of your first appointment.
PRIVATE HEALTH INSURANCE
If you have Private Health insurance, you may be entitled to rebates for non-Medicare rebated sessions (check with your provider but please note that you cannot claim twice for the same service). A referral from a medical practitioner is not required to qualify for private health insurance rebates.
